We will help you to find the best solution for your needs and we are committed to your complete satisfaction. Your first interaction with Blinds and Us of Asheville will be with our customer service representative, Jamie Bloomberg, who will delight you with her soft and pleasant personality and her desire to help. Once you've scheduled an appointment, you'll meet with one of our design consultant, Karen McCutchan , who will meet with you either in our beautiful showroom or in the comfort of your home where we will find out about your window coverings needs and show you a variety of product options and solutions. Finally, you'll meet our Certified Professional Installer, Dan McCutchan, who will impress you with their friendly and precise installation.

Karen McCutchan – Owner and Design Consultant
Karen is the driver in this business – she is our business visionary and THE product expert. Ultimately, she takes responsibility for ensuring that all of the projects are completed to our customer’s expectations and satisfaction. She will meet with you to select the perfect solution for your window covering needs, whether your project is simple or sophisticated. Karen will educate you about all of the window covering possibilities and then assist you with defining which design choices will best meet your requirements. Karen is committed to providing you with windows that WOW.
She specializes in automation projects for interior window coverings, providing pre-wire consultations, system design and integration with home automation systems, installation and programming. She will work above and beyond the call of duty to achieve the results that she expects.
Karen has been in the industry for over 17 years. During her free time she enjoys mountain biking and road biking, backpacking, waterskiing, and scuba diving.

Dan McCutchan – Owner and Installer
As a Hunter Douglas Certified Professional Installer, Dan has undergone advanced, hands-on training in a variety of installation techniques. You can be assured that Dan is skilled to measure and install virtually any window fashion - including the most complex specialty windows and other unique situations. Dan will also entertain you with his dry sense of humor.
When not installing for Blinds and Us, which is rare, Dan is riding in the wind on his Harley.

Jamie Bloomberg - Office Manager and Showroom Sales
While Karen is the idea-lady, Jamie is the behind-the-scenes, make-it-happen, implementer of those ideas. Her main responsibility is business and financial management, along with implementation of marketing programs, but she steps in wherever she is needed. Jamie will assist you in setting up an in - home design consultation, managing your project and keeping you fully informed of any changes, scheduling installation and following up on any questions or requests that you may have. Jamie’s dedication to customer satisfaction will ensure that your design project will go smoothly from beginning to end.
Jamie enjoys spending her weekends staying active…mountain biking and road biking, hiking with her dog, Stella, snowboarding, wakeboarding, pretty much anything outside.
